Un MOSFET GaN de última generación proporciona una eficiencia superior, y la detección de voltaje "GPU-First" incorpora un estabilizador de voltaje inteligente patentado, lo que garantiza un rendimiento y una estabilidad de primer nivel. Además, cuenta con el Modo Turbo para una refrigeración máxima al realizar overclocking u otras cargas de trabajo exigentes.
La ROG Thor 1200W Platinum III también incluye la característica pantalla OLED Thor, ahora mejorada para una fácil fijación magnética: se puede intercambiar a cualquiera de los lados de la unidad para adaptarse a la instalación de la fuente de alimentación con el ventilador hacia arriba o hacia abajo.
